Homestay
This is my homestay brother and sister from Dharamsala. Sonam, on the right, works for the government in conflict resolution and is also an actor. He stars in the Tibetan refugee movie Phun Anu Thanu. It's pretty funny. My sister, Dolma, stays at home and did most all the cooking. I got a sweet chili sauce recipee from her.

Jesse! your trip thus far sounds incredible. I am leaving for New Zealand on December 2 and have been thinkig of you a lot as the day comes closer. Next time we see eachother we will have so many stories to share. I'm not sure where you are the moment, but I hope your having a wonderful time. Anyway, just wanted to touch base and say hello.

Happy Thanksgiving, Jesse. We had a nice visit with your parents a few weeks ago and they said you'd be spending some time in Thailand around Christmas. I've spent quite a bit of time in Thailand, mostly Chiang Mai, and would love to give you any tips if you're wondering about places to go, stay, etc. Anyway, thanks for keeping us all up to date with your travels. I think you'll be surprised to know how many people anxiously await your updates. Be safe and have fun.
Namaste and aloha, Marybeth:)
